Our Mission


The mission-driven concept defines the value system and culture of MDR. In all activities, Mission Driven Research employees maintain a focus on the big picture perspective. This ensures that all tasks are approached with an adherence to excellence and that efforts are expended toward driving the fulfillment of the overall mission objectives.


Service to our Customers

Put simply, Mission Driven Research employees are expected to "work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23, ESV).  To do so, employees work hard to ensure that their best effort is made to complete their work in ways that are technically accurate, professionally presented, and quickly corrected when found to be in error.  Often the work completed by MDR directly impacts the success of future defensive systems that will ultimately save the lives of deployed soldiers and civilians.  In this environment, it is critical to provide consistent, accurate products to fully inform decision-makers.  Employees must also adhere to the highest standards of ethics in all aspects of customer relations.  This not only relates to technical areas, but also to the areas of time-charging, billing, customer relations, and working to build up team members that may even be from competing companies and contractor teams.

Service to our Community

The defining aspect of Mission Driven Research is the focus on providing opportunities for employees to team together to make a positive impact on their world.  As a result, the company provides and encourages the use of paid time off to participate in service projects that can be corporately or individually initiated activities. MDR sets the standard for the employees by automatically contributing a portion of all profits to many charitable activities, primarily through Huntsville-local nonprofit Mission Driven Ministries (MDM). Through its partnership with MDM, MDR supports service and fundraising projects in a variety of ways locally, nationally, and internationally.
